ApexSet is a one-person project. If something's broken, confusing, or missing, the fastest path is straight to me. No ticket system in between.
Email [email protected]. I read every message.
Q. Do I need to create an account?
No. ApexSet has no backend, no accounts, and no login of any kind. Every screen is reachable immediately after install.
Q. Does ApexSet use my Apple Health data?
Only if you let it. ApexSet can optionally read body weight and BMI to chart body composition. It's read-only (ApexSet never writes to Health), used only for on-device display, and you can revoke access anytime in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Health.
Q. Can I bring in data from another app?
Yes. Settings → Import CSV reads a HeavySet-format export and appends it to your log. Settings → Export CSV writes the same format back out, anytime, not just on first launch.
Q. Is my data backed up anywhere?
Everything lives on your device. If you have iCloud device backups turned on, ApexSet's data is included the same way any app's local data is: that's Apple's backup system, not something ApexSet runs itself. There's no ApexSet server or account to lose access to.
Q. How does the percentile chart actually work?
Your estimated one-rep max (e1RM) is compared against real population strength standards (Beginner, Novice, Intermediate, Advanced, and Elite tiers) for exercises like Squat, Bench, and Deadlift, so you can see where you stand, not just whether the number went up.
Q. I found a bug, or have an idea for a feature.
Send it to [email protected]. Screenshots and the exercise/screen involved help a lot. This is actively developed, and real feedback shapes what gets built next.
